Complimentary Consultation

What to Expect

The Planning process begins with your initial complimentary consultation. This informal meeting focuses on getting to know each other and discovering whether our planning process is the right fit for your situation. We accomplish this by learning about you, your current financial picture, and your broad financial and life goals. We also explain who we are and answer questions you have about anything from specific planning issues to the way that we do business.

This will last anywhere from 30-90 minutes depending on the breadth and depth of the topics we discuss. We will look over and account for investment assets, insurance policies, real estate, social security income, pensions and several other parts that make up your whole financial picture. Once we have a general idea of your financial situation, we will start learning about your short- and long-term goals.

What to Bring

To make the most of your complimentary consultation, please bring recent copies of the following:
  • Bank, Brokerage, and Annuity Statements
  • Retirement Plan Statements
  • Social Security Statements
    • Generate your own statement here.
  • Recent Tax Returns
  • Declaration Pages of Insurance Policies
  • Employer Life Insurance Policies

What Comes Next

After the Complimentary Consultation meeting is over, there are several possibilities for what comes next. It will depend on your goals, needs, and both or our mutual interest in pursuing a client-advisor relationship. If we agree that moving forward makes sense, your goals and needs may dictate creating a Retirement Plan, desiring some form of Investment Management, starting the Legacy Planning process, or some combination of these.
