Thor H. McIlrath is a Partner and co-founder of McIlrath | Eck, LLC, a partnership formed in 2006 with Sam K. Eck, JD. Thor has over 20 years of experience as a Financial Advisor. He began his career in 1992 before joining McIlrath | Eck as a Registered Representative practicing financial planning. While at Cambridge Investment Research, Thor received recognition as a Leading Financial Planner among his peers. In 2006 Thor formed his own company, McIlrath | Eck, LLC, an Independent Registered Investment Advisory firm. 

Thor is a graduate of Metropolitan State College of Denver’s Financial Planner program (2002), and a Certified Financial Planner who has held his General Securities Principal License. He has achieved designations as a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC), and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). Thor majored in finance and accounting while at Columbia College.

Thor and his wife, Heather, reside in Stanwood. He served four years in the United States Coast Guard and is now a general aviation pilot. Thor’s interests include general aviation, reading, trailing bike riding, and supporting orphans and young adults in Romania through Kids Town International, where he serves as a Board member. Owner

Karla serves McIlrath & Eck as our Chief Operations Officer.   Her background consists of service in banking, investment, and insurance, which spans over 20 years.

With a career Navy husband, she also possesses the title of “Career Navy Wife”, and is the mother of 2 grown boys, and 5 grandchildren.  Karla and her family established roots in Snohomish County in 1994, and have resided in Arlington since 2007.

Her hobbies include designing custom jewelry and wine glasses, traveling, and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles with her husband. Karla Dickerson

Chief Operations Officer

Sam began his Law career in 1971, with an emphasis in all areas of legacy planning for the past 17 years. His knowledge and broad-base experience provide a realistic and practical understanding of legal, financial and estate tax related matters. Sam and his wife Mary Jo live in Issaquah, WA. Sam enjoys travel, spending time with his family, and the latest technology.

Attorney At Law

Troy began his career in 2008 after working his way through college at Western Washington University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance, while raising his two daughters. Troy also is a graduate of Metropolitan State College of Denver’s Financial Planner program (2012).

Troy and his daughters live in Stanwood where he enjoys golfing, hunting, sailing, traveling, and fishing. He also volunteers his time with community projects, as well as the collection of items from the area for the local food banks. Troy Crutcher, CFP®

Certified Financial Planner

Adelaide is a graduate of the University of Washington and has been a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner since 2008. She earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix while teaching overseas in Germany and the United Arab Emirates.

In addition to investments, Adelaide focuses on estate planning, taxation issues, and retirement distribution planning for clients.

Adelaide lives in Arlington. Her favorite hobbies include photography, horseback riding, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her dogs, Stella and Ringo. She is active in her community through Soroptimist International.

Jake grew up in the Seattle area and then attended Saint Mary’s College of California where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in International Business. Immediately after college, Jake went to Akron, Ohio with his dog, Kujo, where he graduated from the University of Akron School of Law and received his Law Degree. He has since returned to the great Northwest.

Jake is a big Seattle sports fan. Whether it is the Seahawks, Sounders, Mariners or UW Athletics, he enjoys supporting his teams. He also prays the Sonics will return soon… An avid fan of the outdoors, Jake likes to spend his free time exploring the state’s wildlife and terrain by camping or just wandering. He also gives his time to organizations such as First Tee, Saint Matthew’s Parish, or coaching CYO soccer for middle schoolers in Magnolia.

Jeremie grew up in Burkina Faso, West Africa. He earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) through Western Governors University of Washington. Before moving to the U.S., he obtained a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Ouagadougou after which he began teaching. 

Jeremie and his wife Mary, live in Everett, WA. Jeremie grew up supporting his mom and dad as ministers which prompted a passion to serve God and others. He is currently involved in his church’s ministry and is an occasional guest speaker as well. He likes listening to gospel music, barbecuing outside with family and friends, and going on long walks with his family.

Dyanna Michelle Cocchi has over 25 years of experience in the wealth management and financial planning industry working for Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and most recently, Robert W. Baird.  She is a Registered Representative, having obtained the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses.  She prides herself on providing excellent client customer service.

Michelle attended the University of Alaska – Anchorage studying Business Administration and Management.  Prior to that she was a commercial fisherman out of Kodiak, AK where she longlined halibut.

When Michelle isn’t in the office you will find her spending time with her son Jache, crabbing the San Juan Islands or building her dream garage with her husband John on her 5 ½ acres in Alger.

Michelle Cocchi

Office Manager

Linda has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. She currently holds her General Securities License (Series 7) and General Supervisory License (Series 8). She was an Operations Manager for Smith Barney in Wenatchee Washington from 1990 until 2009 when Morgan Stanley purchased Smith Barney and closed the Wenatchee Branch. In 2010 she joined a local bank in Wenatchee as a Client Service Manager for their Investment Department.

Linda graduated from Marysville High School and she then moved back to the Marysville area to be closer to her family.

Previously, Linda lived in Leavenworth Washington for over 20 years and she spent many of those years hiking in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. She often enjoyed hiking through the Enchantments and surrounding areas. She relocated to Leavenworth for the following outdoor activities:  rock climbing, cross-country skiing and hiking. Before moving East she spent eight years working on Mt Rainier.

Linda still enjoys the outdoors and among her favorite outdoor activities are walking, riding her bike and sitting on her deck reading a good book that is about climbing, hiking etc.! Linda Kuechenmeister

Senior Client Services Administrator

Sonya brings with her over 20 years of administrative and customer service experience within the insurance and accounting industries. She began her career at a third party administrator of insurance products where she started as an office assistant and worked her way up to be an Operations Business Analyst. From there, she moved on to a large public accounting firm serving as an executive and marketing assistant for the next eight years.

Sonya received her Bachelor’s of Art in Studio Art at California State University, Chico with an emphasis in painting, sculpture, ceramics, and art history. She also holds an Associate of Customer Service designation from the Life Office Management Association.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay area, Sonya and her family have made Everett their home since 2006. Sonya Jones

Administrative Services Manager

Raschelle is a Client Services Administrator at McIlrath & Eck. She enjoys working with the clients to assist them in meeting their financial goals.

She had spent multiple years in the financial industry prior to her choice to exit when she became a mother. Her last working experience as an Office Manager allowed her to become a leader within the team.

Working at McIlrath & Eck she has been able to use her financial industry knowledge and team building skills to assist the Financial Advisors in their development of the clients plans for the future.

Outside of the office Raschelle enjoys visiting with family and friends. 

Raschelle Thompson

Client Services Administrator

Nancie has over 25 years working in both the financial and investment industries working for firms such as Edward Jones as the assistant to the Director and Moss Adams as a Senior Branch Office Administrator. She worked for 5 years for a private investment firm in downtown Seattle as their Operations Manager. She was the Administrator of Investor Relations for 4 years for Corixa (a biopharmaceutical firm) before it was purchased by a major firm. And she’s a veteran, having spent 5 years in the Navy stationed in Norfolk, VA as a LN2.

Nancie grew up in southern California and graduated from Norte Vista at the age of 16, whereupon she moved to Los Angeles and attended UCLA with an eye towards a criminal law degree. Her focus soon changed to the investment world where she found her niche. Her husband David is an independent Insurance broker specializing in Long Term Care and Medicare packages and they live in Lake Stevens.

Nancie and David both love to travel off-continent and Nancie has family living in Europe which makes visiting almost mandatory. Due to her obsession for French 1er Cru wines, she decided to attend sommelier school. Her many interests include tastings of old world-class French wines, long-arm quilting, and studying Italian and British history.
